Trade Companion Gmail Collector is a private, personal-use application operated by Woodward Oge for the purpose of archiving Trade Companion newsletter emails from the operator's own Gmail account into a local research archive.
Google data accessed
The application requests only the Google Gmail read-only OAuth scope
(https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly). This permits reading
Gmail messages and related metadata but does not permit sending, editing, deleting,
labeling, or otherwise modifying mailbox content.
How the data is used
Gmail data is used only to identify, retrieve, preserve, and locally process relevant Trade Companion newsletter deliveries for the operator's private archive. The application is not offered as a public service and is not used to provide services to third parties.
Storage and disclosure
Retrieved newsletter data is stored locally in the operator's private archive. Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Data control
The operator can stop the application by revoking its Google OAuth access and can delete locally stored archive data under the operator's control.
